Understanding Scuba Diving
Scuba diving(Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) is a form of underwater diving in which a diver uses a scuba set to breathe underwater.
The Scuba set allow the scuba diver to be at ease when submerged for extended periods of time. Modern equipment sets include tanks containing mixes of nitrogen in varied ratios with oxygen, a buoyancy control device, a first- and second-stage regulator (to allow the regulated flow of gas from the tank into the user's respiratory system), a wetsuit and accessories for heat insulation, fins for underwater propulsion, as well as a mask (to be able to see underwater) and a snorkel (for moving around the surface of the water without using up breathing gas).
Scuba diving has become increasingly popular among lovers of swimming. It is an easy sport, fun and interesting. It has enabled people to discover the fascinating world of oceans and seas in perfect safety and comfort.
